The renovation of the "English basement" of a ground floor duplex required creating a new opening to a sunken garden and some skill to disguise the intrusions of the utility services for the whole building.

While the client required discrete rooms, we were able to open the space with incomplete walls, hidden doors and carefully placed built-in furniture.
